suffered by the consumers?
This univesal discomfort was/is caused by the shareholders being
unwilling to invest futher in their business to bring it up to
scratch, instead they asked the tax payer to bail them out whilst
raising the fares every year, sometimes more than once a year !
untill it cost more to travel onntheir slow, unreliable rail system
than it cost to fly over the same distances !!
All this happened since privatisation??
Show me the benefits of private interests in public resources if
you can??
