Inaccuracy

There is no excuse or space for it, is there?

Re: Inaccuracy

Finding myself checking your spellings and punctuation....so glad I'm not a teacher. I remember finding some old exercise books and being disappointed that the teacher hadn't corrected my spellings.

I've come to the conclusion inaccuracy is an ingrained part of our culture, then you point fingers at everyone else, because it's always someone else's fault.

I have a spititlevel and still get things wrong, I came from an estate with no education, what's your excuse. I blame nobody for nothing, everyone is culpable for something.

It was that hippy teaching system at the time. They put groups of children around tables so that they could be disruptive.. oops I mean creative and not learn properly. It was the start of the culture of distraction.

Re: Inaccuracy

AnnieS, this thread came about because some of the folks I work with, have no concept of accuracy, so, I get more and more requirements to supply information about simple tasks, so everyone can see what's going on. I think its not because folks can't give credence to accuracy, I think its just that they can't be arsed, or, don't realise the importance of accurate information (not grammar), there is a difference.
