Any wind damage today?

Anyone get much wind damage today?

I have six tubs of beautiful Dahlias blown down, plus a pot of Evening Primrose.
I have left them laying over at the mo, probably better than standing them back up and knocked over and over again.

The chap over the road brought me a nice big pile of runner beans as most of his plants had blown down and ruined.

It finally is showing signs of getting a bit less severe now.

How have you got on today?

My runner beans have been hit bean flowers and baby beans everywhere .....it's carnage !

Doesn't seem too bad here inland. Some of the beaches got a pounding though.
I will never eat baked beans again.

Just heard on the news that in Woolacombe, 70 beach huts were blown into the sea, and one man got killed.

I damn near blew my trousers off after last night's curry if that's what you mean.
