Re: Any wind damage today?

It blew over some of Marge's tomato plants, but they seem to have survived.
Fortunately, our garden is surrounded by tall hedges, bushes and trees so, although things do get blown about a bit, we're pretty well protected...

...from burglars too!

Leaves and twigs blowing into my paint Mups.....
Trying to paint the fence, I had to tie the paint tin down to stop it blowing away. Fortunately I managed to finish the panel with no casualties..... And no rain either......

It's finally died down to just a normal breeze here now, thank goodness.
I will have to sort my plants out in daylight tomorrow.

Re: Any wind damage today?

I have been woken up several times during the last few nights by 90kph winds buffeting the house, but no damage that I can see. Just the usual leaves and branches ripped of the local trees littering the streets and garden in the slightly sheltered spots where they come to rest.

Looks like it's here for the rest of the weekend too.

Absolutely no rain though, wouldn't mind a bit.
