I vaguely remember that too.
Never tried them though, never wanted to either.

Although I'm 100% secular now I do sorta follow the rules of kashrus and I'd use that as an excuse not to eat bugs.OK I know what Leviticus has to say about this and locusts but that's different. We feed copious amounts of fried (?) mealworms to birds and whatever eats what we put out but that's the only place mealworms have in our house or ever will.
