Men and Women, different skills.

Hi

I do not go along with men and women are equal at everything.

We are very different.

That does not mean that one is better than another or more important.

I do not consider myself better than a lady, just different.

Good at somethings, bad at others.

Different skills and abilities,

My Ex could spot a problem or an issue with the kids far sooner than I could.

Far more attuned than I was at home.

She could connect with them and sense an issue far quicker than I could.

Once aware of the problem Dad had very different responses to the issue.

Not everything can be resolved by rational response.

Mum was right most of the time, there are however times when rational response does not work.

Dealing with pillocks requires a response.

That is my job ,old fashioned I know, but that is me.

It sometimes requires a response which is clear and definitive.

Make my kids cry and I will be in your face.

Now make me cry.

Such is life, you protect your family.

A complaint to the parent, if rejected, their problem, their choice.

I do not threaten kids, .

I do not even threaten the parents, I just explain, in very simple terms, what will happen if it happens again.

Men and women compliment one another, make a good team, in the home, in the boardroom.

Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus ... or wherever. We are different, thankfully.

You could argue that no two men, or no two women are the same. Some blokes are good at practical things, and some are good academically. Some ladies are better runners than some men, and some men are good with children. Men and women's bodies do have some differences, but I have forgotten what they are.....

Hi

I simply believe this.

It is not a battle, it is complementary.

Just accept it and make the most of it.

The mother of my kids had skills I did not have, essential to bring up the kids.

I had skills she did not have.

It is a balance, I simply do not get one is better than the other.

You work together to provide the best for your kids.

That is the way of things.

Hi

That is the beauty of the Internet.

We can say things we would never dare say direct to her.

Re: Men and Women, different skills.

Aren't we all different?
I am sure that many men see themselves as different to other men, and I am certain that women are different to other women, in many ways.
Personally I think that the greatest influence on the person you are, is many different events of your life... not your gender......and how many of us lived the same life.
When a man makes a mistake, all women are likely to say "Well what do you expect, he is a man"
I am sure most men make similar comments about women...but do they really mean it?
Nobody can be rightly judged because they are male or female, so why cant we all accept that you should judge a person as an individual, rather than what gender they are?

Re: Men and Women, different skills.

Without bragging, I am pretty good at DIY projects, just removed a load of flaking decking stain from my decking, then sand the weathered look out of it,

This time I will not be staining it, it will be treated, like it used to be, I’ve looked after my deck and I love it, the wood hand rail is the next job attached to the decking ,it’s a nice feature ,at this moment it’s covered in green mould.

Being single can make you extremely independent!
