The plethora of military bases all around China and in the pacific suggest otherwise.

It's not necessary to go to outright war anymore. If one can demonstrate that you have overwhelming military superiority and that any conflict would be suicide for the underdog then it just comes down to political manouevering.

Just look at Korea. The man in charge makes lots of political gestures for the sake of appearances for his country citizens but the reality is that the USA could annhililate them in the blink of an eye. Korea knows this and so has no choice but to comply with USA dictats. Of course the USA understands that the fake political story must keep going so they don't humiliate Kim Jon and support that position whilst in reality being in total control.

The same will undoubtedly happen in China. The military threat the USA poses is astronomical and China will ultimately have no choice but to comply. If the leaders refuse they will be "managed" and alternative leaders found who will play the part. And so it goes on, right around the Middle East and Asia as has been happening for some years now.

Morrocco, Libya, Egypt, etc etc

The USA is slowly working its way around and towards the remaining significant powers and puts itself in a position to cripple the primary resources of those countries until they submit.

Doubtless those threatened will themselves threaten back with their biological warfare viruses as we are now seeing.
If you put a tiger into a corner, that's what happens.

The USA wants to be the global superpower and realises that it can not afford to sit and wait until all these Eastern countries have the same technologies as they have. So it's obvious they will act preemptively, which imo is what they have been doing the past decade.

Hi

I disagree.

If the USA acts preemptively they simply cannot win.

China is huge, the USA cannot hit all their missiles first.

The UK will be the first to be hit, not the USA, they have to destroy the USA Bases here.

That is an essential part of our War Games.

Yorkshire will be destroyed first, then Cornwall and then Suffolk.

Then the Chinese will target the USA.

The USA will back down then, they will not allow the destruction of USA Cities.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Why on earth would the US bomb China because of the virus?! They have military bases everywhere. So off topic.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Back on the original thread, away from conspiracy theories and
world domination plots etc, the real threat is much simpler
If the efforts to restrict the virus to as small an area of China as
possible fail, then i is possible that a world pandemic could get
started? All it takes is for mass repatriations of tourists who are
unfortunate enough to have been exposed by simply being present
when the virus was discovered?
I am surprised at the calls to bring back british tourists who are
stranded out there, it is the best place for them untill the danger
passess or better arrangements have been made for them!
I believe the WHO is becoming interested now and we should wait
for their opinion?

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Yes it is about the virus. It's academic who bombs who with nukes or how many each one has. World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones if anybody is left. Dealing with now- and the virus - would anybody care to read my thread on the breakthrough Melbourne medical scientists have made on combating the virus? There are 2 reports there which I think are incredibly good and hopeful news about this .

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

In a major breakthrough in the global fight against coronavirus, scientists in Australia have developed a lab-grown version of the disease.

Described as a "game changer" that will help scientists determine whether a future vaccine is effective, experts at Melbourne's Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity on Tuesday became the world's first scientific lab outside of China to copy the virus.

They will now share it with the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Europe, which will in turn share it with labs worldwide — including one from Queensland — involved in the worldwide race to develop a vaccine.

The team of scientists grew the virus from a patient who had been infected since Friday.

Yep Bruce I started a seperate thread on this but nobody has bothered to comment yet. It maybe the time difference but with all the opinions that have been put forward so far I thought at least somebody would like some good news. We'll wait and see I guess.
