Real flame effect candles.

Battery operated ones,with remote control.

Does anyone have them?

Apparently it is hard to tell the difference between the real thing,/battery operated ones.

Going to have a look in Lakeland today,

There are some pretty ones about, Pauline, but I still prefer the real thing - especially some of the scented ones.

I agree, can't beat the real thing...I have a Christmas garland on the fireplace,I would like to place a few candles around it...thought these battery operated ones would be safer.

Ever since a house near me caught fire, because of candles.....made me very wary...

If some people were more careful..these things wouldn't happen...

I have some too....problem is the battery runs out ...and then that's it with the cheaper ones....there is no way to change the battery.

I love candles on winter nights too

That must have been scary. I have to be extra careful with live flames because of my nosy cats!

I bought a set of three from Lakeland, with a remote.

I also bought a medium sized single one,to put on the kitchen windowsill .

The flame looks very realistic..plus you can use rechargeable batteries with them.
