Any enthusiast would have checked that out if they wee paying that amount of money.

Wish I was mechanically-minded or good at mending things. I'd love to do up a classic car as a hobby, but sadly I'm not.

I once bought a recon Triumph engine, put it in the car but didn't realise that it was missing its water pump. No suing involved though, just had to buy a new pump from City Motor factors.
