Dogs can Lungworm from slugs and snail larvae, so I think we'd better scrub that idea too.
Ive got the answer Mups, it has become obvious to me that you
live in a highly populated area ( snailwise!) and you are worried
about your dogs ingesting dead/drunk snails etc?
The answer is simple, keep your dogs indoors overnight!
Then the birds will take care of the drunks/dead partygoers as the
sun peeps over the horizon in the morning before you release your
beerhounds!
