Just to show you how dry it is here is a picture of one of my fence posts. You can see how the ground has shrunk away from the concrete in the post hole and has formed cracks.

Not to mention the fact that we are on level two water restrictions (we will need a lot of rain for that to change).

Bruce I would willingly give you our rain, here it is dark, dismal & very, very wet, not to mention the wind whistling around the sun lounge like a banshee.

Going out to drag the dustbin in I got soaked and wind blown in seconds . I shouted at the rain to go to Australia where its needed . I so hope it does .

Finally a dry day forecast.

No chance of gardening, I am on heavy clay with standing water on the lawns.

Marge has gone out into the garden, although we too are on heavy clay and the lawn remains waterlogged for days after a heavy downpour.
It appears that the sun attracted her out, like a moth to a flame!
