laying a lawn

Not a whole lawn but Sue has decided to cover part of the veg patch as it is getting too big to work. It looks like about 11 rolls of turf should do it. Just got to wait until the weather settles so I can prepare the area to be covered.
secretly I think she loves the petrol mower so much she wants to do more.
Me use it? good heavens if i go near it I will be dammed for weeks

You and me both. With my three lawns, it feels like I'm cutting the grass at Longleat.

I have a Son who does that, with a strimmer. The mower always runs away with me & I am terrified of the strimmer.

I quite enjoy cutting the lawn but it's the edging I don't like. Mrs LD normally does that.

Nice to hear that you guys have lawn. Mine has dried to sand and dried dead tufts. Rain is coming. Water restrictions in place but still enough to drink and wash..just.

Re: laying a lawn

I quite fancy my back garden with fake grass . Just think never having to mow or weed again . I think it has to be swept .

Now that's got me thinking
