Any Movie Buffs out there?

I saw a movie years ago and would like to find the title...

Just one actor throughout playing a Neanderthall type African searching for any survivors of his people.

The film follows his adventures avoiding members of a more modern tribe (heard but not seen) and his survival amongst the African wildlife. (Some brilliant photography)

Any ideas anyone?

Thought about that one meself, that's about three warriors going looking for a source of fire tribe's when their fire was extinguished.

Poohdog, I am a huge movie buff but that film you describe does not bring anything to mind. do you happen to remember the actors name ?

Not really into watching one actor movies doing all the stuff in a movie although I have come across a view .
That Charlton Heston movie last man in the world.
Denzil Washington another but there are others in that movie. Watched a black n white one the other week it was that Vincent Price another great actor all he did was kill zombies.
Always seems to be something lacking imo.

But I will keep trying PD do we have the year it was released.
