Business Abroad

Would love to hear stories from anyone who has run a business abroad ? Personally I have done a family pub/restaurant in spain which was great fun but financially not so good and also had 2 goes in running a bar/guest house in the fun country of Thailand to which I will share few stories on this thread if it takes off. So has anyone had a go so to speak ?

I currently have a Bar/bodega in a small seaside town in Catalunya which I open from May until the end of October....Main business is with French, Dutch and Spanish tourists.....I've lived here for 34 years and have been in the hosteleria trade for most of it......
