Wasn't it just awful ?
I had terrible childblains on my feet and hands as a child and no wonder I was always cold.

I don't miss our outdoor loo when I was a child .... gosh it was cold going out there in winter

I don't miss the choice of toilet paper my grandma had in hers, cut up newspaper or a roll of sandpaper disguised as Izal

I agree Meg. I always found Sundays really boring. Also the fact there were no shops open in the Christmas holidays to buy batteries for our toys. These days there is always somewhere open.
