Hi

No such thing as Legal Aid in Thailand JBR and things are dealt with on the spot except for the most serious offences.

Thailand used to be a haven for Paedophiles.

The main offenders could afford high class lawyers and bribes, the Thais got fed up with the publicity.

There are very few such cases in Thailand now.

The Thais have a very flexible approach to such things.

If you are caught, every Thai Police Station has a gun, your fingerprints will be found on the gun and down you go for 10 years for possession.

Ten years in a Thai Prison, no protection and with everyone knowing what you are in for is a very good deterrent.

Are you now advocating the relaxation of immigration controls to allow Thai immigrants into the UK when you've previously been a fierce advocate for stopping all immigration - talk about hypocrite !!!

Although that sounds a bit like corruption, though I'm sure it would deter crime.

Our own system actively encourages it so, if it were to be one or the other, of choice I'd go for the Thai system!

OK sorry I first have not followed this thread so far
Question.

Was this for last year??

Last year went to America for a holiday for 12 days flights and hotel in June cost£601

Tried to book again for the same and cost quoted £1887.

It's all down to Brexit I think

Will try to book holiday at the start of April

Well let’s face it certain age group Brits have earn a reputation for drunken slutty behaviour whilst aboard, I guess what comes around goes around .
I like Spain I’ve always found the Spanish to be warm and friendly.

Re: Benidorm suffers HUGE drop in British Tourists.

Please don't misunderstand me. When I criticise EU countries, it is ALWAYS the government officials that I am referring to, (as well as the placard holding morons in Benidorm in this case). I would never say anything detrimental towards citizens of European countries. They are no different to us, trying to live their daily lives as best they can. The Spanish people we have met over many years have always been kind, helpful and cheerful. Not a word against them. Their political leaders though.......
