Or whatever make, do you like yours?
I am not sure I would describe it as a small SUV but I like my Isuzu Dmax, you can get them in the UK abet with a smaller 2 litre turbo diesel (They are 3 litre turbo in Australia). I am very pleased with it.

Well, my dealer honoured the seven-year warranty when a damaged shock absorber was replaced, and like Val J, my car came with one year's roadside assistance which I only had to use once and that was when I had a puncture and couldn't get the wheel off. Those are the only `problems` I've had with the car in four years of ownership.

The car has only a 1000 cc engine but I understand that because it Is turbo charged it is a lot more powerful than a normal small car yet still economical to run.

Had a ride in one to and from hospital yesterday. What a contrast from my Toyota..... Badly put together, noisy gearbox and clutch judder and paint could be better,

Don't know about reliability though. Had three Toyota hybrids, only consumables wore out.......

I have never understood the European obsession with underpowered cars. To move 1 tonne it takes the same amount of energy whether that power is produced with a 1000cc or a 3000cc motor. While there is a very slight penalty with a larger engine the ability to maintain your speed on hills makes it worthwhile and there is far less stress on the engine.

When I was last in the UK I had to return the rental car because it could not climb average sized hills without a lot of gear changing and inevitable slowing down. This seemed to be true of most of the cars around me too.
