Home start means they will come to your home if your car won’t start, for example, relay means they will transport your car to your chosen destination, if your vehicle breaks down en route, they will not transport a car that has failed it’s mot , as in this case.

My son is now home. The AA wouldn’t come out to him because the problem was the same as the previous occasion when he broke down.

He’s had to use a recovery service which has cost almost £1,000. Plus, as they don’t take passengers, he had to hire a car to get himself home.

A very expensive repair and MOT !
