I have one, but mainly fly RC helicopters as they are more challenging.

Re: Drone

Can't see the point. There are very few places where it is legal to fly one, and those places are generally large boring areas of fields far away from any buildings, roads and people.

There are loads of places you can fly them legally.
Restrictions only start to apply depending on the size, altitude they can attain, max flight distance etc.

Most people just use small hobby drones, not the larger commercial type.

"according to UK laws regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, consumer drones (classed as those that weigh under 20kg) must be flown no higher than 400 feet (120 metres), and be kept at least 50 metres away from people and private property, and 150 metres from congested areas and organised open-air assemblies of more than 1,000 people."

So what does that leave Fender?

Can you give me some examples of where you might fly one and what interest there would be at such a location?

Loads of places I can fly near me mate - and within the guidelines. I fly them for fun and to sometimes record aerial views of scenery.
I don't care if that doesn't interest others.
