What are you looking at?
Super Guppy with its nose open, "looking" at the Sultan of Oman's private executive VC10.
The Super Guppy was used to transport Concorde wing and fuselage sections to France and brought back other large aircraft parts.
The VC10 was in for a full refit and repaint.
The picture resurfaced after many decades during an archaeological expedition into the deepest darkest depths of a an old sideboard. It was taken by me in the '70s with my Dad's borrowed Canon Canonet at "Palm Beach", Filton Aerodrome where I was living at the time.
Now I need to find the picture of the five engine Vulcan and three engine VC10 I took around the same time.
