Decided I would spend a bit of time getting more used to the Nikon 50mm lens on the Nikon D810 camera today



Bit different technique from using a zoom lens, having to walk to get the subject in shot against letting the lens do it for me

Did better than that I jumped.

Seriously tough it was also to check out the new memory card and new battery.
So far the card has taken 110 photos of 74 MB on a 64 GB card.
The battery is an EN-EL 15a Nikon battery which should take more photos than the EN-EL 15 batteries I have been using
I got the new battery off Ebay and we all know how many fakes are sold on there, but this one looks genuine

£17 including P/P against the same being sold in UK for £50/60, and now being replaced in UK by the EN-EL 15b.
so got a real bargain

That's good. Yes I know what you mean about the fakes on ebay. I have been lucky so far.

Nice place to visit but not much atmosphere.
