Re: Is There a Breakdown of Respect?

It's about a kind of self hypnosis. You can do remarkable things if you believe in yourself....God is you, your inner strength....He doesn't live in the sky.

That is what most religions are about. I'm not sure why people keep trying to prove the abstract.

Well there is the alternative view that we are all part of God. The pantheist belief. That everything is.

The thought of that appeals to me.
Can I change water into wine?
Or, better still, dark rum?

Re: Is There a Breakdown of Respect?

Hi

I live in Shrewsbury, a lovely, historic market town with stunning architecture and lots of small independent shops.

Even here, the yobs are taking over.

https://www.shropshirestar.com/news/...rewsbury-plan/

There is a lack of action by the Statutory Bodies, not just the police but the Housing Associations Councils, Social services etc.

We are more concerned about the rights of pillocks than the rights of those they affect.

We need to change.

We ARE changing. A new society is emerging, it's not one I like in no small part because it's based on everyone being equal irrespective of race, colour, or creed which is total rubbish, combined with Socialism which is fundamentally flawed.

Live with it. It's unlikely to roll back.
