Sod it

I took off the side of the PC tower to replace the DVD drive yesterday, I had been using the hoover to suck the dust out of the intake fans on the front, the hoover had sucked off the small button you press to open the DVD drawer.

Just below the DVD drive there's a panel with 4 slots for USB and Firewire slots that I use to connect the camera, anyways I'll have to remove the side again coz I must've disturbed the internal connection wire to the panel, . . sod it.

Re: Sod it

Are you using that as an excuse to get out of the hoovering, Nero?

Seriously though, I hope you can get it sorted...

Re: Sod it

It's fixed the button is so tiny it'd take ages to find it in the dust it's a Dyson, they can suck a golf ball through a garden hose ya know, all that was wrong was a small multi-plug was a bit loose on the USB panel.

I knew you'd sort it, Denis, because it's exactly the sort of thing that would happen to me, and send me running towards an IT expert at great speed

Re: Sod it

You can get cans of compressed air apparently. I`ve been trying to source them to dust mine because my new hoover`s a bit fierce...
