Do you think you should change??

Your hair the way you dress when you get to 50???
I still wear my hair shoulder length, still wear jeans...But do know of a few people who feel once they are 50, should have their hair this way, should dress that way...what do you think??

I think you should be true to yourself, my hair was recently past shoulder length, (its just above now) and I dress to suit me not others. You only go around once, enjoy it!

I live in jeans, wear my hair in the same ponytail it's been in for yonks, and couldn't care less if people think I'm a tad old for it. OK, WAY too old for it! "You can't please everyone so you got to please yourself" .....

The great thing about reaching maturity is that you realise that, in fact, no-one actually cares what you look like. This gives us carte blanche to dress how we want.

Re: Do you think you should change??

I dress how I want to dress-usually go around in sweaters, joggers and trainers. Never understood it when people say when you get to a certain age, be it 50,60 or whatever, they should wear clothes, etc. suitable for their age Where does it say you have to wear this because your such an age ? Don't care what other people think, I wear what I like and what I feel comfortable in

So far it would seem we all feel the same way!

My mom, God rest her, and my grandma wore things called house dresses! Yuk, wouldn't be caught dead in one ....

Right now I'm wearing cut-off camouflage shorts and a black tank top; barefoot now but in trainers at the market this morning.
