Re: Hernia

Good for you for taking the bull by the horns!

I am really pleased to hear that you are home safely and have a plan in place for the other side.

Yes, do go easy and take care of yourself!

Re: Hernia

Wow, Floydy, I am glad they did not hang about. You must be very relieved that most of the problem has been sorted for you - and I am certain you will recover quicker in your own home rather than in a ward. Take it steady now - let everything heal in it's own time.

Re: Hernia

Nice one floydy, glad your on the mend, you’ll be sore for a few days but try and go for a walk, nothing big ,just round the garden, then to the end of the street, build up gradually, it’s amazing how quickly it builds your strength up, but only when you’re ready, don’t rush things,

Re: Hernia

Good to hear that's been done, not before time by what you write either, now it's 'onwards and upwards'. Take it easy, one step at a time and don't try to do too much.

Re: Hernia

Well done for having the op Floydy.
My Husband has had two ops. one on the groin and his latest one a year ago on his Belly button which he has a hug scar, right across the stomach.

Have a good rest.

Re: Hernia

So pleased it's worked out for you Floydy - no more heavy lifting & more cardio eh?

It makes sense but will you lose your powerful arm muscles?

Sounds as if it is just as well you went, Floydy.
