Good morning Thursday

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all.

Blue, cloudless skies here and pleasantly warm, however that is not to last and
it’s forecast to be very hot again. Maximum temperature 31ºC.

Temperatures like yesterday’s are far too much for me. I will be keeping cool and
not doing very much at all, yet again.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

You and me both, Baz, time we had some serious snow!

Good morning everyone - and goodnight!
Been up all night doing chores, reading, card making - off to sleep now away from the heat.

Windows open, curtains/blinds closed, telephone unplugged, electric fans switched on - full power - bliss!

Take care, stay safe.

Good morning Baz, Tabbles, and all who follow later.

Another blazing day in prospect but I have to admit it is too much for me, I enjoy the warmth but cannot tolerate the sun like I used to.

Just about to head off out with the dogs whilst it's cool, then we'll be going out to meet up with family for a small reunion barbecue lunch... seems a long time since we could do such simple things...

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever your plans.

Barry how are you Brits who are used to a coolish climate coping with these sudden heatwave conditions of past two summers. Is air conditioning now becoming more popular. I have to say that you will not survive in our climate without air con. I recall back in late 70s London with mid 90c temps during July/August. We young Aussies felt very much at home.

Hi

Good Morning All

Already hot and a side effect of my new meds is sweating and tiredness.

Garden work this morning, some help coming and then an alfesco lunch and drinks.

It will be nice to socialise with my bubble.

Have good day all.

Re: Good morning Thursday

Good morning all another swelter of a day ahead, another day of over 30° again. All windows are open, back and front door open to let what breeze there is through the house.

I managed to finish off trimming the back hedge yesterday but it was an effort in the heat.

I had a lovely surprise last evening and it seems I have been awarded a Good Gardens Award 2020 for our district. 😊 I was given a sticker to ‘stick’ on the window if I so wished!

Enjoy your day everyone, don’t forget the sun screen.....

Good morning everybody.

I'm expecting a man to come & cut 1 metre off my hedge this morning. The last one let me down so I've got to wait & see if this one turns up!!

Have a good day all.

Mags no air conditioning or even roof insulation against the heat. I asked Barry how he coped with the out of character heatwave conditions past two summers. How are you coping?
