Hi

Treading on Dangerous Ground here, but there we go.

May and Morti are the two most sensible, accurate posters on here on anything Political.

They both make a lot of sense, I am so sorry you have fallen out.

Ah, you want to withdraw, back down ... okay.

So, you didn't answer. Do you happily call an assimilated immigrant Scottish?
Perhaps Scotland handles the diversity better than us south of Hadrian's pathetic wall.

Me too. Delicious stuff. Are there regional variations - my only experience was in Pitlochry.

Don't worry, we're always like this. It'll blow over. We're both thick-skinned crocodiles.

Re: Stabbing incident Glasgow.

This stabbing could have happened in almost anywhere in the in the UK. The last one I think was in Reading. I don't recall any anti-English jibes coming from north of the border as we had in posts 7&8. Their are six people seriously injured in hospital.

Agreed. IMHO, this isn't really an appropriate thread for jibes.

Re: Stabbing incident Glasgow.

Why does everything have to be considered anti this or anti-that at all?
People really are getting over sensitive to imagined racial jibes.
Most of which could apply to anywhere north, south or east or west of the Border. Well, not East obviously, else it'd be in the sea. England has it's own problems.

That's the flamin problem right now.
Beginning with BLM, Brixton parties and riots, .... stabbings here there and everywhere.
Soon no one will able to say a damn thing unless they are black or an immigrant.
It's getting ridiculous.

Bloody hell ...outnumbered. I'll leave you to it then.
Scottish stuff isn't really anything to do with me.

It's the ugly other face of the pro this/that coin. By endorsing positive discrimination, one automatically invokes negative discrimination too. And that's when people get angry.
