Some good news!!

At last some good news from Moscow! Erdogan and Putin agree
to a cease rire in Idlib starting at midnight tonight!!
Potentially the best news this year?
Just hope they make itbwork!!

I don't wish to be negative but Erdoğan is in over his head. He thought he was being clever buying missiles from Russia in an attempt to bluff the US and NATO and threatening floods of refugees. Now he is in a hole and has make his peace with Russia. I wonder what the price was? All of this to try to win back popularity at home. What price Dictators

Yes he is under pressure at home and elsewhere RM, at least it
gives some potential respite to the genuinebcivilians in the area?
And maybe some retribulion to Assad for his crimes, allthough l
doubt that?

at loggerheads over Erdogans provocations, this, as you say the
first sign of a concession from him? Should we turn our noses up
at it?

Maybe not but we should be very wary of either of them. Neither are renown for being trustworthy. Russia has form in using truces to further their cause.
