Sent to cover the annual appearance of world-famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil, a self-centered TV weatherman unleashes his bitterness -- and soon realizes he's doomed to repeat Groundhog Day until he learns that his actions can affect the outcome.
Another great movie .....

Not an overwhelming success on initial release, it has since acquired a massive audience, who may see it from different viewpoints and on different levels.

A Bill Murray tour de force, obviously, but a strong supporting cast and a very witty, often barbed, script .....

I have seen it several times, note something different in it each time.

I tried watching it once, and gave up after about 20 minutes

I loved Groundhog Day....but is it only me who has a problem with the Sony Movie Chanel....half way through the film it stops and asks me to pay money and subscribe ?

Is everyone else a member or do they just pick on me ?

"American Graffiti" on True Movies (A Sony-owned channel) broadcast in two parts but only part one recorded on my PVR, part two failed, so it looks like you've found the reason .....

Can't stand Bill Murray but the film is watchable on a cold, miserable night if nothing is on TV.
