For starters, nothing is going to happen with a legal action threat until we have already left, legal action is going to take at least a couple of years to come to fruition, so my assumption is that the EU are only now realising what it means if we leave without a deal and are grasping at straws.
Let them do their worst! We will be long gone by the time those chancers have their day in court.
From what I read (in the Express) they are talking about taking us to the ECJ!
But we are no longer in the EU, so how can they take us to a court of which we are no longer a member!
I would have thought the ICJ would be more appropriate, but even then hasn't the EU broken international laws before now?
In my opinion, it is what they have been doing all along, bluster, demands and threats.
We must also remember that the original WA, upon which they are basing their threats, was written by our top anti-British fifth-columnist, Treason May who, incidentally, is still stamping her feet in parliament. Why her constituents still vote for her I don't know.
No. We should continue to ignore the EU's threats. We are already out of the EU and in three months we shall be a completely independent and sovereign country, free to run our land however we see fit, and that includes Northern Ireland.
