Boycott Christmas Crackers?

These totally useless yet expensive bits of paper and plastic rubbish all end up in our ever increasing land fill.

Boycott them this Christmas ?

Yea or nay ?

I'm with you on that one, Muddy. Can we include Christmas cards with glitter?

I'm with you Muddy, they are just a waste of money, stupid little plastic toys in them, at one time there used to be nice useful things inside them, but not today.

Yes I agree with Last Tango as well, Glitter grrrrr.

I like Wildlife Xmas Cards, pictures of Bisons, Stags etc.

Kids love them though at Christmas.....I might compromise and get those little tiny one's you can put on the tree so kids can find them...that sounds fun.

I rarely buy them anyway so I wouldn't miss them but like summer says kids love them. Perhaps homemade ones with sweets or chocolate in would be an idea.

I.d be sorry to see cards go, I love to see them hung on my room wall.

I used to buy crackers when our children and grandchildren were younger but don’t bother now.

They did brighten the table at Christmas though (the crackers not the children).

Re: Boycott Christmas Crackers?

Is there any sadder sight than a table full of people all wearing stupid paper crowns and attempting to have fun?
