Quick trip to Hay this morning to collect some Air Ambulance monies and a few odds and ends. Glorious sunshine. Hadn't been home for long and it was snowing like h*ll. Didn't last though. Picked up Chris from the bus and then DIL took me to Builth to retrieve Rob's truck from the Garage. Thank goodness I'm not having to pay for that service and MOT as well as for my car.

Off to Craft Club now, though the forecast says snow from 8 pm onwards here! But I'm only going to the village so can walk home from there if the worst comes to the worst!

Snowed a bit during the night-trouble is it's now frozen.Road was gritted last night but the pavement is very slippery,glad I haven't got to go out today.
Granddaughter and children coming this evening- weather permitting.

Tesco man said that there has been a pile-up on the common, lots of police cars etc. Hope no fatalities

Had a sprinkling of the white stuff overnight, but I'm not risking taking Rob out in his van. If ever that slid into a ditch with him in it, I cannot imagine what I would do. Glorious sunshine until lunchtime so got the washing dry in the conservatory. I sat there sewing for a while, but got too hot!

Going to meet friends in Swansea this morning.Will use the park and ride,cheaper than parking in Swansea.

Great lecture at U3A today on Medicines, Poisons and Genetics. Roses and I walked up to the centre of town so that I could pay Air ambulance monies into the bank and then we had lunch in the Wellington. Picked my boys up from the bus and made pancakes and now settling down to watch the bowls on TV.

Today is our St.Valentines Day.
Took me ages to get to Swansea yesterday-there was an accident on the way out of the village.Had to turn around(as did several other cars)and went the roundabout way which is quite a detour.
Food shopping this morning.

Cant believe the lovely warm sunshine here. I've had to have the window wide open and change into a cooler top . Crazy
No plans for the day so just relaxing
