Cheap imports will reduce demand for British foods. They will be priced out of the market.

Actually, here we produce only about 60% of the food we eat.

We eat too much meat anyway.

And the meat we do eat, or a lot of it, is lower quality anyway, which is why it's cheap.

If we were prepared to eat less meat, and to pay more for better quality meat, there would be enough produced here.

Whatever ... we are about to be hugely ripped off.

The State Pension has just gone up by 2% when things have gone up by 20%

... and it gets worse.
