Oh it's a stunning movie! The desperate villains all caught up in a shack in the middle of a blizzard. Tremendously entertaining and yes, gory (well, it is Tarantino!) but brilliant.

yep gathering snow storms; lonely stage coach stations ; roaring fires ; home-brewed coffee [maybe poisoned] no sex and great western dialogue - beats John Wayne hollow!

I love it when they need to let the next person in and they have to fight against the wind to keep the door closed. They have no lock on the door so they're banging bits of wood on it every time lol.

Have you seen Danmgo Unchained, Gumbud? A great spaghetti western if ever there was one.

no haven't seen that one but I'll try and hunt it down now there was another crazy one like the hateful eight I watched a few months back - will try to hunt it down again and post it - Mr and Mrs something maybe?? cheers

Tarantino can do no wrong. Both excellent films with his usual violence thrown in. Thought that Jennifer Jason Leigh as Daisy Domergue in the H8 played an excellent part.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago and loved the twists and turns, another great film from Tarantino and some great performances from the cast. Top marks....

yes it looks so deceptively easy to make but must be quite technical and the script is so tight and just to the point and no more! crisp I would say. Did he do McCabe and Mrs Miller too?
