I wonder how much has so far been achieved for this £100m funding. Not much I will bet. Throwing money at something doesn't mean anything will get done. Particularly when there is no plan and no rational idea of what's needed. I'll bet that a lot of this money gets wasted and that many on £2000 retainers swanning around doing sweet fa.

Assuming "Nepotism" still means "looking after your family or friends" then it might be worth looking at how some famous Russians managed to acquire personal funds to allow the purchase of UK Football Clubs, Huge Private yachts, Posh houses everywhere?

Once the true "believers" were released from the Communist strictures, it's amazing how much money has flowed into such Friends as those!

Hi

I have to disagree Annie.

The advice is there, the Politicians choose to ignore it.

Brexit is not about getting the best deal for us.

It is about keeping the Tory Party together.

Swim what do you disagree with? The politicians may be leading but the civil servants are managing this.

I don't believe we will get value for money for the £100m. That's not how these things work. The way it works is that the government give funding and then assume that it is possible to spend it on something to achieve an objective. The mandarins in charge never have a proper plan. Billions have been wasted with this approach. Look at the Garden Bridge and HS2. It's immoral and nobody is held to account. Nobody is ever responsible for the waste. This will be no different. While people are starving and homeless.

This is a very educational thread - all the scumbag 'nasty supporters coming outn of the woodwork to prop up that evil witch may and her cronies, whilst turning a blind eye and trying to confuse the issue, because they cannot answer the issue of nepotrism within the scumbag 'nasty party' government.

And you cannot answer the charge of nepotism in the other parties including your beloved new Marxist Labour. Just as an example a scumbag lying Labour MP from up Peterborough way, recently jailed for perverting the course of justice is still employing her scumbag drug dealing son on 50 grand a year as her Commons chief of staff...... or had you not noticed that one?

Most of us accept that all parties have their low lifes, regardless of your pathologically inane gibberings. Perhaps it's time to remove your blinkers?

It's not as if there's any viable alternative or political opposition is it

Joe, could it not be the case that having to use private contractors is the fault of the early days after David Cameron called for the referendum and he ordered the Civil Servants not to cooperate at all with Leave MP's in several ways. The present government obviously thinks they aren't thought trustworthy or even capable of Brexit being left in their Remain loving hands! hence having to use outside sources.
