How Do I Stop Crying?

My beautiful 11 year old Labrador Cassie was put to sleep on 30th December 2015. I am devastated as it was all so quick. She went off her back legs on Boxing Day, she seemed to rally but then went downhill so quickly.

Cassie....If I could have taken years off my life and given them to you. I would have done so in a heartbeat....

When Rocky died I cried non-stop for weeks - I have argued for a while that losing a pet, that you spent every day with, can be more difficult than losing a member of the family who you didn't see as much.

Sounds like Cassie had a wonderful companion in you, *hug*.

Im so sorry to hear this Artangel...a much loved family member that will never be forgotten im sure!
In time the sweet memories will overshadow the tears xxx

I'm so sad for you Art. I know just what you are going through. I still miss my Beauty and Happy and its been years now.

Art I am so sorry don't try to stop crying, take a cushion and hold it tight and cry until you can't cry anymore (hugs)

I have lost so many dogs over the years and it is like losing a best friend and something none pet owners will never understand.
We never forget them these special friends who make such a difference to our lives...

Art I am so sorry for your loss, keep crying for a while it's healthy to do so. I agree with azz we know our dogs far better than our families in many cases and they depend on us so much they become like an extension to us.

Very sorry to read about Cassie Artangel. It's heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet , but you made the kindest, loving decision for her.
The happiness and unconditional love our pets give us can never be repaid. As long as you carry her in your heart, she'll always be with you.
