I saw this story Clumsy and thought some people will live like "pigs in shit" whatever you do for them. If I was any of the people who gave money for this couple id be bitterly disappointed but wouldnt let it stop me from giving to others as there are always "bad apples" wherever you go.

She probably will think twice about making such a kind gesture in the future.
I think I would.

She's been slapped with a Ģ1000 cleaning bill.

I sympathise with the hotel too but really, they ought to write this one off as a tax expense as it wasn't the well-meaning ladies fault.

I saw this story... What an ungrateful pair of low life pigs ( sorry for insulting pigs) They really dont deserve any help ever again...

I feel really sorry for the people who donated money in good faith.

What a terrible thing to happen, poor woman. But I cant understand why she did this act of kindness, surely there are better acts of kindness than pay for a homeless couple to have a break in a hotel

Re: A good deed with nasty consequences

I think itīs very unfair to expect the woman who paid for this couple to foot the cleaning bill, after all she only paid for the room, she didnīt use it.
This awful ungrateful couple even asked at the hotel reception for the money, obviously they didnīt want to spend a comfortable night even though they were supposedly homeless.

I think we have talked about this sort of thing before, some people need to be brought back into society with care and putting them straight into a home or in this case a hotel just sets them up for failure.
