Who gives blood?

Last week I attended my 20th blood donor session. Worth a few minutes of my life to save someone else's.

Big thank you to all who do coming from a family with clotting problems none of us can but we have often needed donated blood.

I'm afraid I'm a total wuss. Sorry I just couldn't.

I've to have mine checked every 6 mths, which is bad enough.

On a better note, my daughter gives blood, so that hopefully makes up for my wussieness.

My hubby used to give blood and got his badge for, I think, 20 pints. I was always under the required weight to be able to donate blood, now I've put on a bit of weight, I'm too old !! My appreciation to all who donate and save lives.

Never been brave enough.
Late OH did it on several occasions and almost passed out every time.

He was very laid back and I AM NOT !
