It's a political pacifier. Quite unnecessary and another huge waste of time, money and energy.

Re: The 2nd referendum

The problem with second referendums is that they are designed for only one thing and that's to overturn the first referendum result.

Watch carefully and you will see the remainers putting the answer they want in the question .

May could win approval for deal if she guarantees second referendum

Peter Kyle, MP for Hove, said that the amendment would be added to the withdrawal bill, but on the condition that if it passed through Parliament, there would be another referendum.
Dear Theresa.

Tell them to go bollocks and get us out. No soft or hard options, just out. Trigger article 24 and get us on WTO terms. Declare tariff free or reduced trade for the next two years until all the further trade negotiations are in place.

Re: The 2nd referendum

I refuse to rise to the bait of the moronic Remain MP's insisting on a delay to leaving to give them the 22 weeks they would need to instigate another referendum.
The first one has yet to be actioned.

I just hope that every single MP who has tried their best to thwart the will of the people, end up unemployed! no-one will be more deserving.

Agreed, but it won't happen as they're all in their own little club and sod the great unwashed.

Re: The 2nd referendum

" I am absolutely clear that a referendum is a referendum. It's a once in a generation, once in a lifetime opportunity, and the result determines the outcome.
You can't have neverendums; you have referendums".

David Cameron 17th May 2016

Of course that was when he, and the rest of the Establishment expected that the result would be to Remain.
Now we're on course for the biggest stitch - up and betrayal in British political history
