‘YOU’....A Rollercoaster To Hell.
Thank You,
Longdogs for telling me about the series ‘You’ on Netflix.I started watching soon after you told me about it on the ‘Dirty John’ thread.
I watched it until the end, all ten episodes. It was like an enthralling book that you just couldn’t put down!
I was so enthralled by it, that by the end l felt as if l was in there with them!
I see there is now a Season 2 which l am pleased about as it might make you feel justice has been done.
This is the plot...
Bookstore manager Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) meets graduate student and aspiring writer Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) at his bookstore and falls in love at first sight. Joe becomes obsessed with Guinevere and stops at nothing in getting rid of the obstacles that keep her from loving him.

If you want a couple of good series then there’s MAD DOGS , the original is in my opinion the better one and runs 4 episodesThen there’s MAD DOGS , exactly same story but different lol

You will love it , the series in my opinion was the better but the one off MAD DOGS in Belize ( a country I have lived in myself many times over the years ) was just as good if shorter but well worth catchingThis is the one off ( Belize )

I watched about half this series, just could not get into it. Again don't like the protagonist. How convenient that he has this secure cool place in the bookstore cellar. Binge watching Gossip Girl was much more fun.
I read Gossip Girl and Bird Box did about the same or slightly better.

My head was frazzled by the end of it! I suppose that’s how you feel when you get off a roller coaster!
I thought the acting was really good, especially Penn Badgley who played Joe Goldberg.
Annie, l see Penn Badgley was also in Gossip Girl.
