Re: Breaking - Joe Biden wins US presidential election

Yep Dex, its a bit like Football fans, when a team wins by a spurious reffing decision, the fans of that team just say a win is win, sometimes it goes for you and sometimes it don't, they ain't usually that philosophical when their team loses surprisingly no fans seem to like the VAR

Joe Biden gains votes in Wisconsin county after Trump-ordered recount

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...rdered-recount

A recount in Wisconsin’s largest county demanded by President Donald Trump’s election campaign ended on Friday with the president-elect, Joe Biden, gaining votes.

After the recount in Milwaukee county, Biden made a net gain of 132 votes, out of nearly 460,000 cast. Overall, the Democrat gained 257 votes to Trump’s 125.

Trump’s campaign had demanded recounts in two of Wisconsin’s most populous and Democratic-leaning counties, after he lost Wisconsin to Biden by more than 20,000 votes. The two recounts will cost the Trump campaign $3m. Dane county is expected to finish its recount on Sunday.
Good for Joe .....

The recounts are NOT fraudulent. In every recount there is going to be some candidate who gains some votes. It could have been Trump, but in this case it happened to be Biden.

I suspect that Trump will claim that, where he loses out, they are

In any case, since he's been making claims that the voting slips were filled in fraudulently in the first place, and incorrectly collected even before they were counted up using spurious and unverified processes, it remains a mystery how he has concluded that he is by far the outright winner.

There's a well known latin phrase that seems appropriate...ex nihilo, nihil fit.

Nothing comes from nothing (Greek: οὐδὲν ἐξ οὐδενός; Latin: ex nihilo nihil fit) is a philosophical dictum first argued by Parmenides. It is associated with ancient Greek cosmology, such as is presented not just in the works of Homer and Hesiod, but also in virtually every internal system: there is no break in-between a world that did not exist and one that did, since it could not be created ex nihilo in the first place.

Very philosphical .....

Indeed

In the context of the election, it is impossible to state a deterministic outcome from data which includes an undefined and non established order of magnitude of bias and error.

Unless proven otherwise, it is equally as likely that the number of false pro republican votes is of the same order as that of false pro democrat votes. It'll be interesting to see how this null hypothesis is tested.

IMO the outcome is that with Biden the wrong side has won.

Time will tell but the future for the decent American population is that that the good guys are going to be losing out.

The future is looking very black indeed.

Exactly this.

The very person that Democrats (what a misnomer) will try and suggest would bring the country together is even managing to do the opposite by deepening divides within his own party!
Combined with the probable logjams inevitable with a divided congress the future does not look at all bright for those reasons alone.
