I always preferred ole Jonesy's music live and below is a good example, made even better by the guitar work from Pete Frampton & Carlos Alomar

Also I think this rendition of Heroes is his best ever and again great guitar work from the above duo.

Re: The Wonder of Bowie's Music.

Cheers guys nice to see one of my threads pick up some interest.

Felt like this one for the past few days (new meds)

Ever had a argument with the postman.
He rang the bell early and when I got down the stairs he was shoving letters and small parcels through my letter box. I opened the door and there he was on his knees ready to push this effing big parcel through the letterbox.
I said to him "Don't you lot ever read the labels"
Is this not 155 then he says. Yes it frigging is I say but it says leave in the white cupboard and thats behind you.

Arrrr yes I know I write total nonsense I hear you say but hey I am still floating, what's your excuses.
The wifey as just told me to go back to bed.
I won't remember any of this later when I wake.

China Girl, written by Iggy Pop and David Bowie in Berlin 1977, released on the Let's Dance LP 1983. I had a Walkman in '83 and the Let's Dance LP loud.
