BMW move 8 & 12 Cylinder Engine Production To UK

As part of BMW's plans to increase electrification, they are moving production of 8 & 12 cylinder engines to their Hams Hall factory near Birmingham and other engines to Austria.

Obviously BMW doesn't see a significant disadvantage to Brexit if they are making this shift - and why isn't this in mainstream UK media like the BBC or Sky?

So after 2029 they'll all be exported to more sensible countries.

I suspect that the numbers of 8 & 12 cylinder engines required
will not be significant, and will only be needed to plug the gap in
the luxury market while they establish their new electric brands??
Then they will flood the world with their new"peoples car"??
So not much advantage to uk unfortunately !!

The number to be made is somewhat irrelevant.
What is relevant is that BMW - a German company - decided to continue building these engines in a UK which will be outside the EU.
