Joe, even the person the unions put into power ( Ed Miliband )is agaist this strike.

IMO it is militants who just want anarchy for the sake of it.

Should'nt we all pull together to get the country out of the mess Labour got it into?

Re: Teachers

Antibrown, Ed Milliband was ELECTED to the position of leader of 'New Labour' by the members of that 'party', just like David Cameron and Nick Clegg were. He was not as you say put into power by the unions. If the Trade Union leaders (and their members) happen to hold a different opinion (and act on that opinion) they are fully entitled to (a) hold that opinion,(b) act upon that opinion as they choose in this (for now at least) democratic society.

Joe, without the well documented support of the unions, Unite, GMB and Unison he would never had got to the front benches let alone lead the useless Labour party.

No-one wins with strikes and only the good people of this country are the ones who suffer and have to foot the bill which the lazy militants create.
