Pixie, you might have overlooked that this sidechat refers to a type of mask:

Now, that would be useful!!

Fortunately we live out in the sticks so in the garden and indoors we obviously will go mask free but other than that we will continue to wear masks. So will visitors to our home. We've had a box of disposable masks under the porch at the front door and a notice telling people no mask - no entry for months now.

Ok, I'll tap it into the open goal. .

I assume that pack of 20 masks still has all 20 masks in it.

Not sure how many of the 50 pack there are left, a few but not many. Must send off to Amazon for some more. There's still an unopened pack but it's the last of the three packs we originally bought.

I’m going to wear my mask no matter what when out and about.
It’s the first winter I’ve not come down with a chest infection.
I’m also going to keep up the hand washing & gel regime ,using antibac on all grocery purchases .

I only wear mine in shops, I expect I'll continue to do it, for a while anyway. Outside it's wide open spaces here so don't need a mask but it's in my pocket, just incase.

That's my intention as well, Ripple. I see far too many people walk on by the anti bac stations in shops now. I still wipe down all my shopping...its just a habit now I'm aware of how many folk touch things. Never noticed it before

You might have a point, but I think Humanity as a whole is sick to death of masks, lockdowns, travel restrictions and badly damaged economies. There will be people who will still take what precautions they can, but I think the (so it said on the news this morning) 67% of people in the UK have been double-vaccinated and they want their liberty back.
