Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning All, Waiting at the Chiropractors just now for my appointment in a few minutes, then into Tesco for some bits n bobs. Nice big frothy coffee and away through the woods with the dog. Very cloudy here and quite cool, hope it warms up this afternoon. Enjoy your day everyone.

May I was very dubious about it when I first tried it, but wow it works, and quickly. You can add a bit more salt to the mix if you don't think it's enough. I get the 40p bottles of white vinegar from Tesco, usually 6 at a time, and the big bag of table salt the 1.5kg, it's under a pound but I have a load of it stocked in the cellar so it's a while since I bought any. Don't do it when the grounds wet or there's rain forcast, you need the weeds to be thirsty so they will drink it all up.

I use vinegar for all sorts of things, not just on the chips.

Good afternoon ladies. Sun is now coming out and its warming up. Crowded here as usual with carloads and passengers waiting for the ferry. Had a sandwich sitting at the front, now going out for a few bits and bobs.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Evening all. I posted this morning but it has disappeared ! Lol. Watching Andy at the moment. He is a bit unsettled at the mo.
Have you gone pan loaf, May? Salt and sauce instead of salt n vinegar. lol .
I weeded a bit this morning. The weeds seem to be sprouting up quicker than I can dig them out. Need to buy some weed killer for my chips. My garden chips that is.
Hope everyone is enjoying this nice weather. Hope this doesn’t go into the ether again !

Or would your weed killer work on the chips, Roxy?
