bishops no live avenue highgate/hampstead - grenfell idea ?

bishops no live avenue highgate/hampstead - grenfell idea ? 16.07.17

from the village brow
near the end of hampstead lane
even batman and robin would go "pow"
this criminality is a stain.
its not violent
the upper class are shrewd
with "grenfell" i refuse to be silent
i want to change the mood.
so many properties
empty with no sole
with people struggling are no loyalty's
this crime deserves "life" with no "parole".
the land is value
any local estate agent would agree
sit in paradise with a malibu
or wait a few years and sell it on "gumtree".
with no higher interest rate
money returned and more on the menu
sorry if this does infuriate
is it correct to have "no live" in the bishops avenue.

there's definitely something sinister and menacing about Bishops Avenue.

A private road in the London suburbs where you can't even see the front drives and hardly any sign of life is not menacing? Too much money concentrated in one area. Wonder what happens behind those clipped hedges and silent grass verges. Perhaps it's the entrance to a secret underworld like Narnia, but without Aslan or the snow or the fawns ....

I knew a Bishops Avenue in East Finchley, London.

Very posh and expensive area.

Cliff Richards manager (was it Norrie Paramor?) lived there once. I remember my brother seeing Cliff's car parked outside, and he boldly knocked on the door for an autograph as a kid. He didn't get it.

Ghastly. Insane. Immoral.
Knock the bloody things down and build affordable housing.

Re: bishops no live avenue highgate/hampstead - grenfell idea ?

A lot of these houses are standing empty and boarded up. I took a walk down there a year or so ago, just to be nosy.

Some are too ostentatious. Most get bought, knocked down, and something else is built on the site. Many are owned by overseas folk, particularly the Arab royals I believe.

It always seems to be a building site, so I wouldn't like to live there.
