Lovely quirky stuff folks!

Can anyone guess what splisters and brimmer are?
I'll give you clues the first word describes something at Xmas and the second describes the sound this makes

When much younger, after a walk, my daughter came out with the line "my eggs are laching".

Since then, when tired, we say we're "laching". At lease we know what it means

Nearly, it's Xmas tree needles and anything like corduroy or corrugated cardboard etc. (it's the noise it makes when small children scratch it) one of my kids invented those words when tiny.

My nephew had fuffylalas instead of lorries for toys!
