Replacement for my dead iPad, suggestions please.
My trusty(overrated)iPad has finally died.I want a tablet that is reliable, one that is fairly priced so when it gets scratched I won't cry.
The iPad was good but not £400 good.
I take it on site quite a bit, general use is in a building site office/portacabin type environment so a bit harsher than normal everyday use.
I've looked at some sub £100 and they seem OK for what I need but I'm not sure of the pro's/cons of such.
What would you recommend?
I've seen an Amazon Fire 7 for £60 is this any good?

Full of loads of stuff that you just don't need.
If you just want basic Internet and Mail get an Amazon Fire for £60 ... Just pocket money for a wealthy guy like you

I find the Amazon Fire a little on the small side so I have the Samsung Tab4 as well, no probs whatever to date and the advantage of expandable memory using SD cards, which the ipad doesn't have. I also think the Android OS is far superior on many of the apps, so all in all I'd definitely buy again.15-07-2016, 12:57 PM
