Lawnmowers.

I know that there are some DIY geniuses out there so I'm seeking advice. I have a flymo 350 electricity powered hover mower which worked quite well before our holiday but won't work now..........no power keeps coming. What do you suggest ?

Re: Lawnmowers.

Does it have a 'safety' device that requires you to hold down a button with one hand while squeezing the lever with the other hand ?

If it does check the wiring to the button, I've had problems with this before, in the end I removed it all together, after all there may well be some idiots who will hold their hand in the blade while squezing the start trigger but I ain't one of them !!!

Re: Lawnmowers.

Is your circuit breaker working?

Have you checked your plug fuse?

Have a look and see if you have a loose wire - please don't disconnect the safety button...that's idiotic Harvey.

I wouldn't dream of bypassing the safety switch.

Use Scissors. They never fail and so much cheaper to run.
